Over 40 years of experience in independent professional practice and hundreds of projects to his credit varying in scope and type, including historic renovation, multi-family and custom housing, skyscrapers and office buildings, manufacturing facilities and educational institutions with special emphasis on sustainable design. Mr. Nardi’s technical expertise and artistic creativity in architecture and urban design come to life in his design and concept of Dos Lagos Heart and Public Areas in Corona CA, a signature landmark that synergizes multiple land uses and creates a delightful focal point for the 543-acre community.
His original design concept has been recently recognized by the American Institute of Architects, the American Planning Association, and published in Architectural Record, the Los Angeles Times and LA Architect. He holds Masters Degrees in Architecture from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and in Urban Design from Columbia University. Mr. Nardi is a Professor Emeritus of Architecture at California State Polytechnic University Pomona, has taught Architecture and Urban Design at Tulane University, as well as Universities in the Argentine cities of Buenos Aires and Cordoba and lectured throughout the world.
Most recently he has taught Sustainability at Pitzer College a Claremont Colleges Campus, as well as serving as a sustainable consultant at the University of California Riverside Capital Programs – Design and Review Board; he is the founder of ForumMazatlan, an international seminar series on the intersection of design and sustainability sponsored by renowned design institutions from Argentina, France, Holland, Mexico, Canada and the United States where he has lectured extensively. An outstanding designer, Mr. Nardi has received several awards for design in the United States, and internationally. He is a professional violinist, one of the founders of the Santa Fe Symphony and leader of Il Musiarchi string quartet.
He is the founder and principal of Nardi Associates LLP, an international design firm and CEO of Architram Plus LLC, a Real Estate, architecture, development, and construction company with offices in Mexico and the United States. As a professional leader, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, a past President of the Argentinean Association of Architects (45,000 members), and former National Director of Tourism of Argentina.
